The Exocad course at Cochin Dental Institute is open to dental professionals, including dentists, dental technicians, dental hygienists, and dental assistants. Additionally, SSLC/Plus Two/ graduates who  are  interested to explore the possibilities in Digital Dentistry can apply for this course. Non Dental candidates have to complete 4 month Dental Anatomy course at Cochin Dental Institute prior to Exocad course.

No prior experience is required to enroll in the Exocad course. The course is designed to accommodate students with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced professional, our modules cater to your individual needs and aspirations.

The duration of the Exocad course varies depending on the module. Each module has a specified number of hours, ranging from Novice (72 hours) to Master (45 hours). The course consists of a combination of lectures and practical sessions, allowing students to gain theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience.

Each module of the Exocad course covers specific topics and skills related to dental CAD/CAM designing. The Novice module focuses on basic concepts and crown/bridge design, while the Intermediate, Advanced, Superior, and Master modules cover progressively advanced topics such as implant prostheses, smile design,  denture frameworks etc.

To enroll in the Intermediate module, candidates must have successfully completed the Novice module or possess relevant work experience in dental CAD.
